Police are investigating the theft of three valuable timepieces from a Naperville jewelry store Tuesday afternoon, and they want help from the public.
Three Rolex watches with a combined value of about $32,650 were taken from the Fey and Co. Jewelers store at Washington Street and Ogden Avenue about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Naperville Police Sgt. Lou Cammiso said.
The suspect is described as a black man in his early 30s, about 5 feet 11 inches tall and stocky, with a light beard. He was wearing a black puffy jacket and a dark Bears stocking cap, police said. After taking the watches, he ran from the store into a gray or gold 4-door vehicle and disappeared, according to a news release from the police.
Naperville Crime Stoppers will present a reward of up to $1,000 to whomever can help solve the crime. Anyone who saw the incident or has information about it should call 630-420-6006. All callers may remain anonymous.
