Wilma’s Cafe in Naperville is usually closed on Mondays. But sometimes, you have to break the rules, especially when it is something very important.
Wilma’s, at 1224 W. Ogden Ave., will host a pancake breakfast benefit from 6:30 a.m. to noon on Monday. All proceeds will go to the Olivia Dworakowski Memorial Foundation to benefit the family of Olivia Dworakowski, whose life was taken on Oct. 30.
Elzbieta Plackowska of Naperville is charged with fatally stabbing her 7-year-old son, Justin, and 5-year-old Olivia while she was caring for the children at Olivia’s home.
The café will be serving pancakes, juice and coffee for a suggested donation of $5. For more information, call Wilma’s Café at 630-355-8989.
