Naperville police are looking for two men suspected of being involved in a fight that injured a third man early Saturday morning on the Riverwalk.
A man was sitting underneath the pedestrian bridge near the Riverwalk Eatery shortly after midnight when the pair approached him and tried to take the hat from his head, police said.
As he resisted the attempt, the man was cut twice with an unknown weapon, according to police. Neither of the wounds was thought to be life-threatening.
The alleged attackers fled and could not immediately be found.
Police said one of the suspects was described as black, about 5 feet 11 inches tall, with a medium build and a cloth tied around his head.
The other is light-skinned, black or possibly Hispanic, also about 5 feet 11 inches tall with a medium build, wearing a hooded sweatshirt.
Anyone with information about the attack is asked to contact the Naperville Police Department at 630-420-6666.
