Naperville’s big St. Patrick’s Day parade is set for March 16, but some residents couldn’t wait to have a little Irish fun.
On Saturday, the Barr family — Greg, Mo, A.J., and Mayle — of the 1600 block of Mohler Court organized the second annual St. Patrick’s Parade in their Naperville neighborhood of Century Farms.
This was actually the 13th parade the family has hosted, including events when they lived in Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Minnesota.
The afternoon event included prizes and treats for participants, and a chance for everyone to get a head start on St. Patrick’s Day fun.
