2Hit and run: About 11:15 a.m., hit and run vehicle struck and knocked down city of Naperville streetlight pole near Royce and Lisson roads; police recovered part of vehicle’s grill on ground.
3Property damage: Between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m., unspecified property belonging to city of Naperville damaged on 1300 block of Modaff Road; report provided no further information.
4No insurance: About 5:53 p.m., unidentified motorist’s vehicle slid down icy, elevated pavement near Elizabeth Avenue and White Oak Drive and struck second vehicle; at-fault motorist charged with driving without insurance.
5Underage drinking: About 10:52 p.m., police investigated report of loud party involving drinking by minors at home on 100 block of Franklin Avenue; report provided no further information.

6Fighting: Oscar Rodriguez, 42, and Nathan Rodriguez, 22, both of same address in Aurora; 2:19 a.m. at Bar Louie, 22 E. Chicago Ave.; both charged with fighting and interfering with police; Nathan Rodriguez also wanted on two warrants; two other, unidentified men or women issued city of Naperville tickets for fighting.
7Driving under the influence: Daniel L. Freese, 33, Montgomery; 2:28 a.m. near 95th Street and Route 59; charged with DUI, resisting a peace officer, driving in wrong lane of traffic and failure to yield to emergency vehicle.
8Traffic crash: About 9:50 a.m., unidentified motorist’s vehicle slid on slick pavement and went through stop sign at intersection of Leverenz Road and Sheehan Drive, hitting second vehicle and causing it to strike city of Naperville streetlight pole; no apparent injuries; at-fault driver charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident/driving too fast for conditions.
9Traffic crash: About 10:40 a.m., unidentified motorist lost control of vehicle and struck tree on parkway near Monticello Drive and Waverly Court; no damage to tree; vehicle sustained $1,500 in damage; no tickets issued.
10Suspended license: About 10:42 a.m., unidentified motorist’s vehicle failed to stop for red traffic light and struck vehicle near 95th Street and Reflection Drive; no apparent injuries; at-fault driver charged with driving with a suspended license.
11Property damage: Between 9:15 and 11:30 a.m., hit and run vehicle struck and damaged mailbox outside home on 2200 block of South Naper Boulevard.
12Shoplifting: About 4:30 p.m., unspecified merchandise valued at $62.16 stolen from Costco, 1320 S. Route 59; report provided no further information.

16DUI: Ryan P. Piencak, 22, Joliet; 12:59 a.m. near Brunswick Zone, 1515 Aurora Ave.; charged with DUI.
17Hit and run: Between 10 p.m. Jan. 11 and 10:48 a.m., driver of hit and run vehicle struck and damaged three cars parked in lot of Neudearborn Station, 900 Neudearborn Lane.
18Shoplifting: About 3:08 p.m., unidentified man or woman picked up package of veal chops inside Whole Foods Market, 2607 W. 75th St., and attempted to leave store without paying; shoplifter detained for police by store security workers, and then issued city of Naperville ticket for retail theft; chops valued at $55.27.
