Friday, Feb. 7
1Theft: A 57-year-old man reported between noon and 5 p.m., catalytic converter was cut off and stolen from 2003 Honda Element parked in private lot on 1700 block of North Naper Boulevard; loss estimated at $1,200.
Monday, Feb. 10
2Unlicensed driver: About 7:43 a.m., unidentified motorist charged with driving without a license, following two-vehicle traffic crash near Ogden Avenue and Mill Street; no injuries reported.
3No insurance: About 8:38 a.m., unidentified motorist charged with driving without insurance, following traffic crash near Ogden Avenue and River Road; no injuries reported.
4No insurance: About 1:41 p.m., unidentified motorist charged with driving without insurance, following traffic crash in parking lot of Sam’s Club, 808 S. Route 59; no injuries reported.
5Trespassing: Bashkim X. Bebo, 59, 1300 block of Crab Apple Court; 3:03 p.m. on 1600 block of Hinterlong Lane; charged with criminal trespass to residence.
6Warrant: About 4 p.m., female juvenile picked up at her home on 500 block of Fessler Avenue, on outstanding warrant issued by DuPage County probation department.
7No insurance: About 4:23 p.m., unidentified motorist charged with driving without insurance, following two-vehicle traffic crash near 75th Street and Rickert Drive; no injuries reported.
8Property damage: A 46-year-old woman reported between 2:43 and 5:30 p.m., hit-and-run vehicle apparently ran off roadway and struck and damaged mailbox outside home on 3700 block of Highknob Circle.
9Theft: About 5:59 p.m., unidentified female detained for police inside unidentified business on 1700 block of West Ogden Avenue; woman suspected of shoplifting, but only received no trespassing warning, as business owners declined to press criminal charges; police followed woman out of store and met with her unidentified associate, who then received ticket for illegally parking in handicapped parking space.
10Driving too fast: About 6:26 p.m., unidentified motorist taken to Edward Hospital in Naperville, complaining of head and neck pain following three-vehicle traffic crash near Ogden Avenue and Tuthill Road; one motorist charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident/driving too fast for conditions.
11Warrant: Marisa Nevarez, 33, Plano; 7:06 at the Naperville police station, 1350 Aurora Ave.; taken into custody on $1,000 arrest warrant.
12Unlicensed driver: Saul Garrido-Cruz, 24, 1100 block of North Eagle Street; 10:50 p.m. near Eleventh Avenue and Washington Street; charged with driving without a license.
