A breakfast at Catch 35 or a lunch at Sullivan’s Steakhouse during the upcoming downtown Naperville annual Spring Girls Weekend will not only come with lots of fashion, food and fun but also a tote bag filled with goodies and coupons.
“We give away simple tote bags every year at these fashion shows — we have done for years,” says Katie Wood, executive director of the Downtown Naperville Alliance.
“They serve as bags for women to go shop with, keep after and use through the summer and put any coupons they receive at the fashion show in.”
Although the official start of spring is not until March 20, the weekend of March 7 to 9 feels like it is Naperville’s prelude to the long-awaited, hopefully warmer, season. Fashion from downtown stores are presented to Naperville ladies during the two Spring Fashion Shows at Catch 35 and Sullivan’s Steakhouse.
“We’ve been participating about seven or eight years now. It’s great fun,” says LeAnne Trevino, general manager at Catch 35. “The totes are filled with treats and coupons.”
The breakfast and lunch event cost $15 each, including tote, food and the fashion show. Reservations can be made by calling 630-717-3500 for breakfast March 7 at Catch 35; and 630-305-0230 for lunch March 8 at Sullivan’s.
About 70 stores from downtown Naperville participate in the annual Spring Girls Weekend, and offer a number of complementary classes and tastings, and many other highlights.
