Summer swim team registration opens Saturday, March 1st for all previous and new swim families. Families do not have to live in the Cress Creek Commons neighborhood to join the swim team. All boys and girls from age 5 (as of June 1st) through high school are eligible.

In our daily instructional practices and competitive meets, our focus this summer will be on developing swimming skills, good sportsmanship, and mainly, having lots of fun.  Because of the school year-end delay, practices will begin in the afternoons the first week of June and move to a morning schedule the following week.

This year we’ll have 8 dual meets with other Naperville teams, several invitational meets, and the exciting Classic and City meets ending in mid-July. The full meet schedule is now available on the gocobras.com website.

At registration, please remember to order a trophy for your swimmers (with a new design), and there are moreCobras yard signs available as well. Don’t hesitate because registration closes March 22nd.

We are currently also scheduling several swimmer and family social events, as well as the season-end banquet and dance party.  Keep your eyes out for new blogs and gocobras.com website updates in the coming weeks.

Wow, with a new head coach and lots of returning and new swimmers, this summer looks to be an exciting time to be a Cobra swimmer.
