The Naperville Area Humane Society is joining in the excitement of the NCAA March Madness Tournament by reducing the adoption fee for all adult cats from March 1 – 16, 2014 to  just $5.

“We have many adult cats at the shelter that just need a loving home.  Some came to us as kittens and have sadly grown up in the shelter.  Others have been with us for over a year!” says Animal Care Manager, Michelle Lenz. “Our shelter is filled with loving animals with all kinds of personalities to fit every home. Plus all adoptees are altered, up to date on vaccinations and also have a microchip,” continues Lenz.

NAHS encourages those who may be considering adoption to do so now when rates are at their lowest.

Naperville Area Humane Society is a private, not-for-profit organization founded in 1979 to promote the humane treatment of companion animals and create lasting human-animal bonds.  For more information about Naperville Area Humane Society, please visit
