There are incidents reported by the Naperville Police Department. Where charges have been filed, the report includes when and where the suspect was stopped or taken into custody and the nature of the charges.

Saturday, March 1

1Warrant: Andrew Echols, 38, Aurora; 1:54 a.m. near Interstate 88 and Route 59; taken into custody on outstanding, $50,000 arrest warrant.

2DUI: Renee E. Roose, 29, 1400 block of Carleton Avenue; 2:19 a.m. near 87th Street and Naper Boulevard; charged with two counts DUI and one count improper lane use.

3Suspended license: Marcus L. McBride, 27, Chicago; 3:38 a.m. near Diehl Road and Raymond Drive; charged with driving with a suspended license.

4Driving too fast: Anthony Vargas, 22, Lyons; 4:37 a.m. near Ogden Avenue and Columbia Street; charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident/driving too fast for conditions and driving with a suspended license.

5Driving too fast: About 7:19 a.m., unidentified motorist’s vehicle struck guardrail near Diehl Road and Raymond Drive; motorist charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident/driving too fast for conditions.

6Suspicious incident: About 3:12 p.m., unidentified resident of 300 block of Apple River Drive reported suspicious vehicle parked in driveway of neighbor’s house.

7Disorderly conduct: About 4:40 p.m., 59-year-old man or woman living or working on 200 block of South Webster Street reported being victim of “harassment by mail;” report provided no further information.

8Driving too fast: About 6:33 p.m., unidentified motorist told police his vehicle slid on snowy roadway and struck median and sign post near 75th and Washington streets; no injuries reported, and post was then “pushed back to its upright position;” motorist charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid and accident/driving too fast for conditions.

9Marijuana manufacturing: Benjamin M. Conrad, 23, Aurora; 7:24 p.m. near Ogden Avenue and River Road; charged with manufacture or delivery of 2.5-10 grams marijuana, possession of 10 grams or more marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

10Reckless driving: Tyler J. Stahl, 19, 100 block of Testa Drive; 8:14 p.m. near Ogden Avenue and Royal St. George Drive; charged with reckless driving.

11Suspended license: Akash K. Dash, 26, 700 block of Spindletree Avenue; 8:23 p.m. near Ursuline Avenue and Naper Boulevard; charged with driving with a suspended license, driving without insurance and making improper turn at intersection.

12Leaving accident scene: Albalynne S. Clark, 41, Aurora; 9:08 p.m. near 75th Street and Book Road; charged with leaving scene of accident involving vehicle damage and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident/driving too fast for conditions.

13Property damage: About 11:55 p.m., driver of white, two-door vehicle struck and damaged city of Naperville streetlight pole near Arlington Avenue and Alexandria Drive, and then drove away from area.

Sunday, March 2

14DUI: Anthony J. Childress, 25, Aurora; 1:06 a.m. near TownePlace Suites Chicago Naperville, 1843 W. Diehl Road; charged with DUI; passenger Johnny Stringer, 27, Aurora, charged with possession of marijuana and taken into custody on outstanding arrest warrant.

15Property damage: About 1:58 a.m., police called to investigate report of “many subjects fighting” inside unidentified restaurant on 1600 block of North Route 59; report provided no further information.

16DUI: Oscar F. Padilla, 24, 2600 block of Boddington Lane; 2:16 a.m. on 900 block of Rock Spring Road; charged with DUI, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident/driving too fast for conditions, driving without insurance and improper lane use.

17Drunken pedestrian: About 2:20 a.m., “intoxicated young man found lying on side of roadway” near Savannah Circle and West Street.

18DUI: Christopher L. Hansler, 21, 5S500 block of Columbia Street; 2:48 a.m. near Wilshire Drive and River Road; charged with two counts DUI and one count each possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, not driving on right side of four-lane roadway and improper display of license plate or permit.

19No insurance: About 10 a.m., unidentified motorist charged with driving without insurance, following traffic crash near 75th Street and Rickert Drive.

20Burglary: Between Feb. 24 and 11:42 a.m. today, snow blower stolen from locked storage closet inside apartment building on 100 block of Testa Drive.

21Shoplifting: Between 7:34 p.m. March 1 and 12:35 p.m., four unidentified black females took clothing inside unidentified store on 200 block of South Route 59 and left store without paying for it.

22Vehicle damage: A 37-year-old woman reported between 1:45 and 3:13 p.m., frozen water bottle used to shatter window of vehicle parked on 2200 block of Corporate Lane.

23Warrant: Jorge A. Gutierrez, 47, Lisle; 3:29 p.m. near Ogden Avenue and Royal St. George Drive; taken into custody on outstanding warrant.

24Warrant: John J. Lunney, 47, 700 block of West Gartner Road; 3:48 p.m. at home; taken into custody on outstanding arrest warrant.

25Driving too fast: About 8:27 p.m., unidentified motorist’s vehicle ran off roadway and struck fire hydrant near Country Lakes Drive and Allister Lane; motorist charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident/driving too fast for conditions.
