Sunday, March 16
1Theft: A 20-year-old man reported between 9:50 and 11:30 p.m., jacket and wallet containing driver’s license, credit card, bank debit card and $15 stolen from locker in men’s locker room at XSport Fitness, 2780 Fitness Drive.
Monday, March 17
2Burglary: A 49-year-old woman reported about 10 a.m., after she had been gone for two hours, formerly closed door found open at home on 1500 block of Estuary Court, “and her dogs were in the fenced yard;” envelope containing unspecified amount of money found missing from home.
3Vehicle burglary: A 53-year-old man reported between 2:40 and 2:47 p.m., passenger-side window was shattered on vehicle parked on 1700 block of South Washington Street; backpack and sunglasses stolen; man said he initially thought sound of breaking glass “was someone throwing trash in the Dumpster.”
4Vehicle burglary: A 72-year-old man reported between 2 a.m. March 16 and 3 p.m. March 17, set of golf clubs, prescription glasses, pair of ballroom dancing shoes and loose change stolen from locked vehicle parked in driveway of home on 2200 block of Petworth Court.
5Suspicious incident: A 56-year-old woman reported about 4:10 p.m., “suspicious subject [was] walking through yards” of homes on or near 2500 block of Lindenwood Lane; subject then got into navy blue, four-door, older-model vehicle on Shimmer Court, which then sped away from area.
6Retail theft: Dominikiana D.D. Brown, 21, and Marquianna N. Powell, 23, both of Aurora; 6:59 p.m. at Walmart Supercenter, 2552 W. 75th St.; both charged with retail theft; Brown also taken into custody on outstanding arrest warrant.
7Underage drinking: About 9:54 p.m., police responded to report of party where underage drinking was occurring, at home on 700 block of Eagle Brook Lane; one teenager issued city of Naperville municipal citation for illegal consumption of alcohol by minor.
8Driving under the influence: Kimberly A. McMahon, 47, Downers Grove; 10:30 p.m. near Edward Hospital, 801 S. Washington St.; charged with DUI and driving without insurance.
9Property damage: Between 9 and 10:39 p.m., mailboxes damaged outside two homes on 1300 block of Saxon Lane.
Tuesday, March 18
10DUI: Nancy Ramirez, 23, Woodridge; 12:22 a.m. near DuPage Medical Group, 808 Rickert Drive; charged with two counts DUI and one count each driving without insurance and violating minimum speed regulations.
11DUI: Matthew R. Wassel, 25, Mokena; 12:57 a.m. near Brown’s Chicken & Pasta, 660 S. Washington St.; charged with two counts DUI and one count speeding.
12Marijuana possession: Leah A. Peck, 23, Dacula, Ga.; 1:26 a.m. on 400 block of South Brainard Street, on campus of North Central College; charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia; unspecified number of other males or females also found at scene; no additional arrests made or charges filed.
13Vehicle burglary: A 64-year-old woman reported between 1 p.m. March 17 and 2 a.m., electronic garage door opener stolen from vehicle parked in lot on 3900 block of Garnette Court.
14Property damage: A 50-year-old man reported between 10:15 p.m. March 17 and 9:45 a.m., 6-foot-tall Frosty the Snowman lawn decoration decapitated outside home on 800 block of Cardiff Road; damage estimated at $100.
15Warrant: Steven V. Pebelske, 30, Cicero; 10:33 a.m. at the Naperville police station, 1350 Aurora Ave.; surrendered on outstanding arrest warrant stemming from 2012 theft case.
16Theft: A 13-year-old boy reported between 2 and 2:05 p.m., pair of neon green, adidas D Rose 3 basketball shoes stolen from locker, while he was in shower at Fry Family YMCA of Metro Chicago, 2120 W. 95th St.
17Shoplifting: Malik R. Chappell, 20, Bolingbrook; 2:27 p.m. at Apple Store, 120 W. Jefferson Ave.; charged with two counts retail theft and one count resisting a peace officer.
18Trespassing: About 3:25 p.m., unidentified male or female given “no trespassing” warning on 1700 block of North Aurora Road.
19Disorderly conduct: Mohammed A. R. Riaz, 19, Woodridge; 5:47 p.m. on 2100 block of Winding River Drive; charged with disorderly conduct/breach of peace and possession of 30 grams or less marijuana, “after shooting air-soft gun” at unidentified motorist’s vehicle.
20Suspended license: Tony M. Parks, 26, 2300 block of Providence Court; 8:05 p.m. near Westglen Drive and Modaff Road; charged with driving with a suspended license, after being stopped by police for driving vehicle with broken headlight.
21No insurance: About 9:31 p.m., unidentified motorist charged with driving without insurance, following traffic stop near 75th Street and Route 59.
