Saturday, March 22

1Vehicle burglary: A 56-year-old man reported between 9:45 and 11:59 p.m., unsuccessful attempt made to break into vehicle parked in lot outside AMC Showplace Naperville 16 movie theater complex, 2815 Showplace Drive.

Tuesday, March 25

2Suspended license: Brian A. Redmond, 23, Bloomingdale; 1:31 a.m. near Ogden Avenue and Naper Boulevard; charged with driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance.

3Vandalism: Sometime between March 22 and 7:24 a.m. today, red marking pen used to print lettering or other graffiti on two ticket boxes and transformer near platform of Metra Railway Route 59 commuter train station, on Fairway Drive south of North Aurora Road; city of Naperville maintenance worker removed graffiti using cleaning fluid.

4Burglary: A 44-year-old man reported between 8 p.m. March 24 and 8:17 a.m., bicycle valued at $900 stolen from open garage of home on 4400 block of Clearwater Lane.

5Warrant: Raymond M. Villa, 21, Plainfield; 1:42 p.m. on 4300 block of Ariel Court; taken into custody on outstanding arrest warrant.

6Unlicensed driver: About 2:54 p.m., unidentified motorist charged with driving without a license, following two-vehicle traffic crash near Warrenville and Herrick roads.

7Shoplifting: Austin L. Durbin, 20, 1500 block of West Jefferson Avenue; 5:32 p.m. at Walgreens, 713 E. Ogden Ave.; charged with retail theft.

8Theft: A 36-year-old woman reported sometime before 6:30 p.m., iPad stolen from closet inside home on 900 block of Genesee Court.

9Property damage: A 33-year-old woman reported sometime before 9:11 p.m., envelope torn open on outgoing piece of mail posted at home on 1300 block of Modaff Road.

Wednesday, March 26

10Curfew violations: About 12:19 a.m., unspecified number of juveniles issued city of Naperville curfew violation citations, after being found walking in area of Leverenz Road and Sharon Court.

11Driving under the influence: James E. Kalins, 63, hometown not provided; 12:43 a.m. near Ogden Avenue and River Road; charged with DUI/drugs.

12DUI: Patrick F. Gilhooly, 38, hometown not provided; 1:03 a.m. near Beebe Drive and Route 59; charged with DUI.

13Suspended license: Charles L. Patton, 43, hometown not provided; 10:45 a.m. near 95th Street and Route 59; charged with driving with a suspended license, driving without insurance and driving with a suspended registration.

14Theft: A 62-year-old woman reported between 3:50 p.m. March 25 and 3 p.m., wallet stolen from unidentified store on 2700 block of Aurora Avenue, and “credit cards were used at several locations before they were able to be canceled.”

15Shoplifting: Nathan M. Pope, 31, and Anthony Cooper, 27, hometowns not provided; 4:54 p.m. at Jewel-Osco, 127 E. Ogden Ave.; charged with retail theft.

16DUI: Annette M. Dudycha, 51, hometown not provided; 6:43 p.m. on 4000 block of 111th Street; charged with DUI.

17Theft: A 42-year-old man reported between 7 and 7:30 p.m., Apple iPhone 5S stolen from unlocked locker inside unidentified building on 700 block of Royal St. George Drive.

18Suspended license: Cristian R. Salazar, 20, hometown not provided; 8:32 p.m. near River Road and Rickert Drive; charged with driving with a suspended license.

19Marijuana possession: Zenas A. Jones, 36, hometown not provided; 10:27 p.m. on 400 block of Orleans Avenue; charged with possession of 2.5 grams or less marijuana.
