Bonnie

Age: 2-1/2 years old

Breed: Pit bull terrier mix

Background:Bonnie came from Aurora Animal Control in December.

Bonnie would do best in a home with no other animals and older kids 10 and older.

Other: She has been working with a trainer and knows sit, down and give me paw to name a few. All animals are spayed or neutered, microchipped and are up to date on age-related vaccines.

Mack

Age: 3 years old

Breed: Jack Russell terrier mix

Background: He’s had bladder stones removed, so he’s on prescription food to keep them from coming back and will need occasional X-rays and urinalyses. The prescription food makes him thirsty, and he needs to go out a little more often, but he sleeps through the night with no problem.

Personality: Sweet and calm, he typically only barks when other dogs start racing around. Mack even gets along with cats. He loves to take walks and has a great time at the dog park. His favorite place at night is snuggled under the covers with his favorite human.

Other: Mack is neutered, crate-trained and current on his vaccinations; microchipping is included with his adoption fee.

Adoption fee: $200

Other: All animals at NAHS have been examined for health and temperament, are up-to-date on vaccines and have been microchipped. They are spayed and neutered at adoption.
