These are incidents reported by the Naperville Police Department. Where charges have been filed, the report includes when and where the suspect was stopped or taken into custody and the nature of the charges.

Tuesday, April 8

1Narcotics possession: About 12:26 a.m., unidentified motorist charged with possession of a controlled substance and driving with a suspended license, following traffic stop near Rickert Drive and West Street.

2Driving under the influence: Ruben Cervantes, 25, Bolingbrook; 1:44 a.m. on 700 block of Kaiser Court; charged with DUI and driving with a revoked license.

3Property damage: About 9:15 a.m., unknown object hurled and damaged glass panel of exterior door of unidentified building on 1300 block of Ridgeland Avenue.

4Vehicle damage: A 23-year-old man reported between 10 and 11:50 a.m., passenger-side headlight found broken on vehicle parked near Benton Avenue and Loomis Street; no shards of plastic found on pavement near vehicle; motorist conceded damage was possibly accidental and caused by rock or projectile while driving.

5Suspended license: Cortez D. Ragland, 20, 2800 block of Vernal Lane; 1:15 p.m. near Bluewater Circle and Skylane Drive; charged with driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance.

6Disorderly conduct: A 29-year-old manager of Walmart SuperCenter, 2552 W. 75th St., reported about 3 p.m., he received “what he perceived to be a verbal threat from the husband of one of his employees.”

7DUI: Sterling C. DuSold, 59, 200 block of Weatherford Lane; 3:09 p.m. near Ring Road and Danbury Drive; charged with DUI/drugs, leaving scene of accident involving vehicle damage, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident/driving too fast for conditions and unsafe backing on roadway.

8Suspended license: Enrique B. Jaquez, 34, Montgomery; 4:27 p.m. near North Aurora Road and Golden Gate Lane; charged with driving with a suspended license and improper lane use; vehicle seized by police.

9Property damage: A 34-year-old woman reported about 10 p.m., unidentified male or female damaged wine glasses during argument on 500 block of Kiowa Drive.

10Suspended license: Lisa V. Wade, 48, Aurora; 10:21 p.m. near Diehl Road and Country Club Boulevard; charged with driving with a suspended license, possession of drug paraphernalia and disobeying a traffic control device; also taken into custody on outstanding arrest warrant.

11Suspended license: Ashley T. Tharpe, 24, Lisle; 10:25 p.m. near Ogden Avenue and Naper Boulevard; charged with driving with a suspended license.

12Unlicensed driver: Shemarr L. Taylor, 18, Aurora; 10:44 p.m. near Jefferson Avenue and Ellsworth Street; charged with driving without a license, driving without insurance and disobeying a traffic control device.

13Suspended license: Viridiana Garcia, 24, Woodridge; 11:29 p.m. near Rollingridge Road and Route 59; charged with driving with a suspended license.

14Battery: About 11:58 p.m., two unidentified males charged with battery, following fight on 300 block of West Ogden Avenue; unidentified female on scene charged with criminal damage to vehicle.

Wednesday, April 9

15Fighting: Monell L. Holmes, 32, and Michael Rodriguez, 27, home towns not provided; 12:42 a.m. on 300 block of West Ogden Avenue; charged with fighting.

16Trespassing: A 27-year-old man reported about 1:06 a.m., uninvited male or female entered home on 300 block of Glen Echo Road; police gave unidentified subject “no trespassing” warning.

17Narcotics possession: Larry Bebo, 54, hometown not provided; 1:06 p.m. near Golden Gate Lane and Tudor Drive; charged with possession of a controlled substance.

18Unlicensed driver: Erik Lara-Valle, 34, hometown not provided; 2:28 p.m. near Ogden Avenue and Sleight Street; charged with driving without a license.

19Marijuana possession: Brenda Meza, 24, and Cynthia Nunez, 24, home towns not provided; 10:55 p.m. on 100 block of Douglas Avenue; charged with possession of marijuana.
