No matter what the thermometer outside is saying, ’tis the season to stock up on tank tops. And Dean’s Clothing in downtown Naperville says its Tees by Tina are flying off the shelves.
Made in the U.S.A. these tanks come in one size only and offer versatility in wear and color, perfect for spring dresses or to accent under a blazer.
“These come in a million colors,” Dean’s women’s manager and buyer, Mira Schmidle, says of the tanks that actually come in 65 different shades.
Dean’s carries about 20 colors in store, but will help match colors via a color palette and can have special orders in the store within 48 hours, Schmidle promises.
“Customers usually start with a basic color like black or white, and then they quickly come back for more,” Schmidle says. Coral tones, turquoise hues, greens and a lot of pinks are some of the fun spring favorites.
“Because they are one size, you can ruche them or pull them down,” Schmidle suggests. And they are machine washable.
Tees by Tina, retailing at $33, are also available at Edward Health and Fitness Centers’ Naperville and Seven Bridges locations. They work nicely with Desigual, too.
“Desigual is a unique and very popular line from Spain, kind of like The Gap here,” Schmidle describes. “Bright colors and fun designs.”
Stop in the store first established in 1959 in Naperville to find a matching new outfit. Need some hemming or shortening of sleeves done? Dean’s offers complimentary basic tailoring for both their men’s and women’s clothing collections.
