These are incidents reported by the Naperville Police Department. Where charges have been filed, the report includes when and where the suspect was stopped or taken into custody and the nature of the charges.

Wednesday, April 9

1Burglary: An 18-year-old man reported between 11 p.m. April 8 and 5 a.m., wallet, clothing and other, unspecified personal items stolen from his apartment on 1500 block of West Jefferson Avenue.

Saturday, April 12

2Public urination: Steven S. Shosey, 38, Warrenville; 12:34 a.m. on 0-99 block of West Chicago Avenue; charged with urinating in public and interfering with police.

3Suspended license: Pamela D. Nunn, 52, Plainfield; 1:23 a.m. near Lacrosse Lane and Route 59; charged with driving with a suspended license and two counts driving without insurance.

4Driving under the influence: Susan L. Kouzmanoff, 47, 1400 block of Queensgreen Court; 2:12 a.m. near Aurora Avenue and Route 59; charged with DUI, failure to yield right of way to emergency vehicle, failure to signal and improper lane use.

5Property damage: About 3:09 a.m., fire extinguisher sprayed in second-floor hallway of Preserve at Cress Creek apartment complex, 701 Royal St. George Drive; spray set off building’s fire alarm; report provided no further information.

6Retail theft: About 4:38 p.m., unidentified customer “stole $2 by switching price tags” at Goodwill Industries, 539 Fort Hill Drive.

7Warrant: Thomas C. Lindsey, 43, Wheaton; 6:23 p.m. on 400 block of Fairway Drive; taken into custody on outstanding arrest warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia in Wheaton.

Sunday, April 13

8Suspended license: Chakise C. Henderson, 35, Lombard; 12:31 a.m. near Diehl Road and Route 59; charged with driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance.

9DUI: Christine J. Anderson, 31, Batavia; 5:08 a.m. on 700 block of Inland Circle; charged with DUI, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

10Warrant: Skyler T. Sabala, 25, 500 block of Aurora Avenue; 9:35 a.m. at home; taken into custody on outstanding, $700 arrest warrant.

11Suspended license: Hope V. Preece, 34, Aurora; 4:13 p.m. near Interstate 88 and Route 59; charged with driving with a suspended license and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident/driving too fast for conditions.

12Theft: About 5:56 p.m., unspecified property found on street near Chicago Avenue and Washington Street; property “was returned to rightful owner;” report provided no further information.

13Trespassing: About 6:51 p.m., unidentified male or female received “no trespassing” warning on 1900 block of West Jefferson Avenue.

14Identity theft: A 45-year-old resident of the 1400 block of Brush Hill Circle reported between 2:30 p.m. April 10 and 11:08 a.m. today, he was the victim of identity theft, following loss of his wallet.

Monday, April 14

15Theft: Between 6 p.m. April 12 and 7:05 a.m. today, four tires stolen from 2011 Mitsubishi parked on western end of front parking lot on 2200 block of Aurora Avenue.

16Driving too fast: About 7:30 a.m., three people taken to Edward Hospital in Naperville for observation or treatment of minor injuries, following traffic crash near Martin Avenue and West Street; unidentified motorist charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident/driving too fast for conditions.

17Theft: About noon, 35-year-old woman called Naperville police station, 1350 Aurora Ave., to report theft that occurred between 11 a.m. April 9 and noon April 10; report provided no further information.

18Recovered property: About 12:13 p.m., 3-foot-tall, plastic lawn decoration in shape of snowman found on 100 block of Quail Hollow Court.

19Vehicle damage: A 51-year-old man reported about 4:16 p.m., sharp object used to etch scratches into finish of vehicle parked in lot on 1700 block of Park Street.

20Suspended license: Randy J. Machnikowski, 43, Lisle; 4:58 p.m. near Mary Lane and Richard Road; charged with driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance; also taken into custody on outstanding, $2,000 DuPage County arrest warrant.
