Naper Wine & Dine fundraiser: The Roaring Twenties will come to life when the Naperville Heritage Society presents its annual wine dinner fundraiser, Naper Wine & Dine, from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Monday, April 28, at Sullivan’s Steakhouse, 244 S. Main St. in downtown Naperville.
“With the recent release of ‘The Great Gatsby’ movie, we thought it would fun to add a little 1920s glamour to the event with the menu and the live auction items,” said Ginia Goggio, development associate at Naper Settlement.
The five-course menu was developed by Sullivan’s executive chef Cein Cid and sous chef Peter Han and features classically inspired dishes, including shrimp cocktail; Consommé Olga, a famous soup served aboard the Titanic; Waldorf salad; a tender steak served with Duchess potatoes; and a raspberry mousse pound cake for dessert. Each course is paired with a complementary wine from Wente Vineyards. The evening also includes a live and silent auction.
Tickets for Naper Wine & Dine are $175 and support education programs and historic preservation at Naper Settlement. Call 630-420-6016 or email email@example.com.
