Naperville was ranked as America’s seventh best mid-sized city for home-buyers by Movoto’s real-estate blog. Cities were ranked by criteria including total homes for sale per capita, median days on the market, affordability, crime rate, unemployment rate and school quality. Movoto’s editors praised Naperville for its low crime rate and good schools.
While our No. 7 city doesn’t offer the most days on market, the highest unemployment rank or even the highest median income, it does offer a very pleasant place to live.
The crime rate here is the third lowest, at merely 1,562 crimes per 100,000 people, and the schools are rates 9 out of 10, ranking at a tie for second on our list for that category. Basically, this city is quite livable for families and singles alike.
