Police Blotter: Man charged with lewd exposure at police station

Sunday, April 20

Theft: A 58-year-old woman reported between 3 p.m. April 19 and 11 a.m., package that had been delivered was found torn open on front porch of home on 1300 block of Olympus Drive; unspecified contents taken; some or all of stolen goods later found in her yard.

Monday, April 21

Aggravated driving under the influence: Juan M. Duenas, 24, 1300 block of Crab Apple Court; 12:16 a.m. near Crab Apple Court and River Road; charged with aggravated DUI with a suspended or revoked license, driving with a suspended or revoked license, failure to signal and a vehicular lighting violation.

DUI: Leobardo Gayton-Jacovo, 27, 700 block of Royal St. George Drive; 12:26 a.m. near North Aurora Road and Golden Gate Lane; charged with two counts DUI and one count each driving without a license, driving on wrong side of roadway, unlawful use of cell phone while operating vehicle, driving without insurance and improper lane use.

Vehicle burglary: A 49-year-old man reported between 10 p.m. April 20 and 6:24 a.m., vehicle burglarized while parked outside home on 1100 block of Starlite Court.

Theft: Between 3:30 p.m. April 19 and 6:30 a.m. today, unspecified equipment stolen from construction site on 3400 block of Silver Bell.

Vehicle burglary: A 32-year-old man reported between 9 p.m. April 17 and 6:45 a.m. today, iPod and pair of sunglasses stolen from vehicle parked outside home on 1100 block of Lakeside Court.

Vandalism: Between noon April 19 and 8 a.m. today, unspecified “criminal defacement” discovered on streetlight pole on 2400 block of Meadow Lake Drive.

Vehicle burglary: A 36-year-old woman reported between 9 p.m. April 20 and 10 a.m., Garmin GPS unit and $1 stolen from unlocked vehicle parked in driveway of home on 1200 block of Gateshead Drive.

Shoplifting: Hunter G. Johnnic, 19, 0-99 block of Elmwood Drive; 10:21 a.m. at SuperTarget, 1951 W. Jefferson Ave.; charged with retail theft.

Public indecency: Reyes J. Morales, 28, Lisle; 12:06 p.m. at the Naperville police station, 1350 Aurora Ave.; charged with public indecency/lewd exposure.

Marijuana manufacturing: John W. Cinzio, 20, 1500 block of Terrance Drive; 3:55 p.m. at the Naperville police station, 1350 Aurora Ave.; charged with the manufacture or delivery of less than 2.5 grams marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Battery: A 17-year-old girl reported between 3 and 6:13 p.m., she was battered by two unidentified males or females after classes at Naperville North High School, 899 N. Mill St.

Distracted driving: An unidentified male motorist reported about 6:29 p.m., he became “distracted moving a purse from the front seat to the rear seat” of his vehicle, ran off roadway and struck city of Naperville electrical box near Parliament Lane and Deering Bay Drive; charged with improper lane use.

Shoplifting: About 8:18 p.m., unidentified black male and black female took merchandise from cosmetics department of Walgreens, 688 Amersale Drive, and left store without paying for it.

Theft: A 34-year-old woman reported between 8 a.m. April 20 and 9:34 p.m. today, front license plate stolen from vehicle parked in lot on 1400 block of Fairway Drive; and 30 minutes later, 38-year-old woman reported sharp object used to etch scratch into finish of vehicle parked in same lot.

Tuesday, April 22

Suspended license: Edwin H. Lobos, 23, Aurora; 12:05 a.m. near Fifth Avenue and Washington Street; charged with driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance.

Unlicensed driver: Manuel D. Carrera-Corral, 56, Aurora; 1:02 a.m. near Ogden Avenue and Valley Drive; charged with driving without a license.

Suspicious incident: About 1:20 a.m., resident of 200 block of South Columbia Street reported “suspicious activity on the part of two male subjects” outside front of his home; report provided no further information.

Suspicious incident: About 6:08 a.m., “suspicious phone call resulted in guest being asked to leave” his or her room at Baymont Inn & Suites, 1585 Naperville-Wheaton Road; report provided no further information.

Property damage: Between 2:30 a.m. April 20 and 12:53 p.m. today, rear leg forcibly broken off bench outside unidentified bar on 100 block of West Jackson Avenue.

Theft: A 62-year-old man reported between 10:30 a.m. and 3 p.m., locking cable severed and black, Cannondale Synapse bicycle stolen from bike rack at Metra Railway Fourth Avenue commuter train station, 105 E. Fourth Ave.; bicycle had green lettering and estimated value of $1,650.

Suspicious incident: Resident of 3500 block of White Eagle Drive reported between 4:25 and 4:30 p.m., anonymous telephone caller to her home told her to call IRS agent, as IRS was filing a case against her; woman told police she recognized call as a scam.
