Lake Forest’s Marcus Lemonis interested in purchasing Portillo’s

Oak Brook-based Portillo’s is considering a sale, and Lake Forest’s Marcus Lemonis is eyeing a bid for the restaurant. According to the Chicago Tribune

Lake Forest’s Marcus Lemonis, CEO and chairman of recreational vehicle retailer Camping World and its parent company, said he is interested in purchasing Portillo’s and that the investment bank Moelis & Co. would represent him in negotiations.

“I’m definitely going to be in the mix,” said Lemonis, who is also a reality TV star told the Chicago Tribune. “It’s going to be a lot cheaper than the (L.A.) Clippers.”
