Councilman proposes change to pet licensing

A Naperville City Councilman has proposed changing pet registration to allow owners to register pets once instead of annually, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Naperville pet owners would only have to register their furry friends once instead of annually, under a new proposal.

The city currently requires residents to pay $4 a year to register each neutered pet and $8 for non-neutered pets.
