A fire early Thursday in Naperville caused an estimated $100,000 in damages to a home.
About 12:30 a.m., fire authorities responded to a residential fire in the 1500 block of Chickasaw Drive, according to a statement from the Naperville Fire Department.
When firefighters arrived on the scene, flames were visible on the south side of the home’s garage, and all residents had safely evacuated. The blaze was extinguished in about 10 minutes, the statement said.
Though the fire was confined to the garage, the home sustained “moderate amounts of smoke damage,” authorities said. The cause and origin of the fire are under investigation.
Authorities said the fire caused $100,000 in damages to the home.
No injuries were reported.
