Father’s Day Freedom 5K Run/2 Mile Walk

Race Director University in cooperation with Captivating Signs of Naperville is presenting the Inaugural Father’s Day Freedom 5K Run/2 Mile Walk on Sunday, June 15th, in Danada Forest Preserve (West) Wheaton, IL.

This event was developed to celebrate fathers and male-figures that play a significant
role in the lives of their children. Like the fathers, guardians, teachers, coaches, mentors and leaders in the community who individually or collectively have provided time and resources for children.

Gregory J. Evans, who is also an Independent Brand Partner with Nerium International, has chosen Big Brothers Big Sisters as the beneficiary who will receive a portion of the proceeds of this event. Nerium InternationalTM, an innovative skincare company dedicated to making people better, chose to partner with Big Brothers Big Sisters because its values very closely align with what we stand for as a brand. This includes the power of association, mentorship, and truly impacting the life of another.

Big Brothers Big Sisters is a non-profit organization whose goal is to help all children reach their potential through professional supported, one-to-one relationships with volunteer mentors. Greg thinks that it was an excellent choice of Jeff Olson, the founder of Nerium, to choose Big Brothers Big Sisters as their charitable benefactor. Having a mentor establish support and leadership helps not only the children but also the community.

So choosing Big Brothers Big Sisters was a perfect match with our Father’s Day Run/Walk. Changing the perception of how fathers spend their time on “their day” can help renew relationships with all of their children regardless of their age. Guardians, mentors and “athletic coaches” also play a similar role as Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Register and enjoy a morning filled with fun, food and entertainment while helping us to raise funds for charitable campaigns in the area of social, health and educational projects. Before we start we will kick

off the event with a balloon launch.
