Aasonn gets $20M for cloud-based platform
Naperville-based Aasonn announced a $20 million private equity investment from LLR Partners. This investment will help the company develop the first cloud-based technology for HR using SAP’s SuccessFactors platform.
Aasonn’s BPaaS solution will deliver outsourced HR services via cloud technology, enabling companies to standardize their HR processes against industry best practices, automate workflows, access advanced reporting and analytics, improve efficiency while lowering costs, and put the employee experience at the forefront.
Benedictine open houses for adult students
Benedictine University in Lisle is hosting two open houses for adult learners wanting to advance their careers.
The open houses are from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 11, at the Bellwood Learning Center, 407 N. Mannheim Road, Bellwood; and Thursday, June 12, at the National Moser Center for Adult Learning, 1832 Center Point Circle, Suite 102, Naperville.
The admissions application fee is waived for open house attendees.

Keller Williams offers free homebuying seminars

Anderson’s Bookshop launches reading program
Anderson’s Bookshops in Naperville and Downers Grove are partnering with Meatheads to launch a summer reading Books & Burgers promotion.
Children may participate by reading a minimum of five books to earn a free kids’ meal at Meatheads, which has locations in Naperville at 2555 75th St., Suite 127, and Glen Ellyn, 549 Roosevelt Road.
To launch the event, a special storytime program is set for 11 a.m. June 21 at Anderson’s Bookshop, 123 W. Jefferson Ave. Costumed character Curious George will be on hand.

New staff at DuPage Convention and Visitors Bureau
Georgia Fournier recently was named the sales manager for the fraternal, reunion and religious/faith-based markets of the DuPage Convention and Visitors Bureau as sales manager.
