Monday, June 9
Vehicle burglary: A 32-year-old man reported between 9:30 p.m. June 8 and 7 a.m., a laptop computer valued at $2,699 was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked on the 1500 block of Towhee Lane.
Thursday, June 12
Theft: A 17-year-old boy reported between 1 and 7 a.m., his brother’s laptop computer was stolen during a party he was hosting at home on the 3500 block of Eliot Lane.
Vehicle damage: A 54-year-old woman reported between 10 a.m. June 11 and 7:30 a.m., vehicle damaged while parked on the 200 block of East Fifth Avenue.
Vehicle damage: Two women reported between 5 p.m. June 11 and noon, trunk doors damaged on two vehicles parked on the 1500 block of Raymond Drive.
Trespassing: Wesley Llanes, 23, Humble, Texas; 3:11 p.m. on the first block of Testa Drive; charged with criminal trespass to land.
Illegal skateboarding: About 3:51 p.m., unidentified male or female warned by police officer on 300 block of South Main Street about not riding skateboard in downtown business district; by 4:15 p.m., “subject must have forgotten about warning, and again rode skateboard past (police officer) at same location; skateboarder received “no trespassing” warning.
Credit card fraud: Jonathan L. Overton, 22, Bolingbrook; 7:31 p.m. on the 500 block of West Jackson Avenue; charged with unlawful use of a credit card.
Trespassing: About 11:50 p.m., unidentified male or female charged with trespassing on 500 block of North Washington Street.
Theft: A 48-year-old woman reported between 10 p.m. June 11 and 5:50 a.m., heavy-duty plastic children’s playhouse stolen from front yard of house on 2500 block of Leach Drive.
Suspicious incident: An 86-year-old resident of the 1400 block of Crystal Court reported about 5 p.m., unidentified white male claimed to be “taking donations for a book club for children’s hospital;” woman said she took information supplied by solicitor and determined there was no such donation drive.
Friday, June 13
Trespassing: Timothy A. Sulda, 50, Countryside; 12:08 a.m. at BMO Harris Bank, 503 N. Washington St.; charged with criminal trespass to land.
Vandalism: Sometime before 7:23 a.m., graffiti written or painted on third floor north stairway door of city of Naperville public parking deck, 75 E. Chicago Ave.
Theft: An 84-year-old woman reported sometime between May 13 and 1:07 p.m. today, unspecified items went missing from her room at Independence Village, 1030 Aurora Ave.
Suspicious incident: An unidentified resident of the 200 block of Brooklea Court reported about 3:30 p.m., robocall was placed to his home, “and the caller ID showed it coming from the city of Naperville.”
Theft: A 53-year-old woman reported between 7:20 a.m. and 3:34 p.m., wallet stolen after being left on countertop of unidentified business on 1900 block of Brookdale Road; stolen credit cards were already being used.
Driving under the influence: Giulio S. Dalporto, 50, Aurora; 4:22 p.m. near 111th Street and Book Road; charged with DUI.
Theft: A 14-year-old girl reported between 1 and 5:50 p.m., bicycle stolen from bike rack outside Kroehler Family YMCA of Greater Chicago, 34 S. Washington St.
Battery: Claude L. Shaw, 21, 500 block of Fessler Avenue; 8:34 p.m. near his home; charged with four counts battery and one count each battery causing bodily harm, resisting a peace officer and violation of bail bond.
DUI: Luis S. Rosales, 40, 700 block of Royal St. George Drive; 10:17 p.m. near his home; charged with DUI.Tags: Police Blotter
