Two too many

 A man already convicted of urinating in the doorway of a downtown Naperville bar one morning last winter has been found guilty of doing the same thing a short time later on the floor of the city’s police station.

Roberto Ocampo, 23, of near-west suburban Elmwood Park, pleaded guilty Tuesday in DuPage County Circuit Court to a misdemeanor charge of criminal damage to property not exceeding $300. Court records indicated Associate Judge Thomas A. Else accepted Ocampo’s plea, placed him on a year of supervision and ordered him to pay unspecified fines and legal fees.

About 3:51 p.m., unidentified male or female warned by police officer on 300 block of South Main Street about not riding skateboard in downtown business district; by 4:15 p.m., “subject must have forgotten about warning, and again rode skateboard past (police officer) at same location; skateboarder received “no trespassing” warning.

Like Mother, Like Son

An inebriated motorist from Naperville who called his mother for help last winter after his car became mired in a snowbank — only to have his mother allegedly drive to the scene while drunk — has been convicted of drunken driving.

Dimitriy V. Nosenko, 20, pleaded guilty Tuesday to a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol in that March 6 incident, according to records on file in DuPage County Circuit Court in Wheaton.

Dog Gone It

A Missouri woman who created a stir last fall by allegedly stealing three puppies from Petland stores in Naperville, Bolingbrook and suburban St. Louis has been convicted and sentenced in the first of those cases.

Shelly R. Hess, 51, of Chesterfield, Mo., pleaded guilty in DuPage County Circuit Court in Wheaton to a felony charge of retail theft. She admitted to stealing a 2-month-old Havanese dog on Nov. 8 from the Petland shop at 720 S. Route 59, on Naperville’s far west side

A 48-year-old woman reported between 10 p.m. June 11 and 5:50 a.m., heavy-duty plastic children’s playhouse stolen from front yard of house on 2500 block of Leach Drive
