Naperville Tweets: U.S. vs Belgium reactions

The U.S. Men’s National Team faced off against Belgium Tuesday in the FIFA World Cup.

The Round of 16 game determined which team would advance to the quarter finals. After two scoreless halves, thanks largely to the efforts of U.S. goalkeeper Tim Howard, the 0-0 game was tipped into overtime.

Belgium’s Kevin De Bruyne scored in the 93rd minute, followed by a second goal from Romelu Lukaku. 19-year-old striker Julian Green put one in the net for the U.S. in the 107th minute, but it wasn’t enough for the USMNT, which ended the game with a 1-2 loss.
