Naperville police are seeking the public’s help in solving an attempted break-in late last month at a home near the city’s East Highlands neighborhood.
A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the would-be burglar or burglars, police Sgt. Steve Schindlbeck said in a release.
The incident occurred between 10:30 and 11:15 a.m. June 28 at a home on the 1200 block of Kimball Court, the release read in part. The home is in the Kimball Mill area of town and north of the DuPage River, between Gartner and Hobson roads.
“The residence backs up to a small group of trees and a field frequently used by homeowners in the area,” Schindlbeck wrote. The release did not provide further details about the crime.
Witnesses to the attempted break-in, or those who believe they have information about the case, are asked to call Naperville Crime Stoppers, at 630-420-6006. Callers can remain anonymous.
