The Naperville Jaycees announced July fundraising totals Wednesday:
The Naperville Jaycees are pleased to announce a total donation of $12,300 to local organizations for the month of July 2014. These contributions are in addition to the $12,700 awarded in April and May back to the Naperville non-profit community.
The Naperville Jaycees year-round fundraising efforts provide funds to donate to the community. This year the Naperville Jaycees have been researching and donating to deserving local organizations to award monthly grants from April through December 2014. They are proud to announce that the July donation amount of $12,300.00 was comprised of several smaller donations to different impactful Naperville area not-for-profits. These local organizations are making huge strides to help several important aspects in the community and were recognized for those efforts by the Naperville Jaycees. The recipients include: I Support Community $250; KidsMatter $2000; CASA of DuPage County $1500; Literacy DuPage $750; NaperBridge $800; Edward’s Foundation $1000; DuPage Pads $1500; 360 Youth Services $1000; Hesed House $1500; People’s Resource Center $1500; Rebuilding Together Aurora $500.
In addition to the monetary donations, the Naperville Jaycees are continually finding ways to give back through volunteerism and community outreach.
