These are incidents reported by the Naperville Police Department. Where charges have been filed, the report includes when and where the suspect was stopped or taken into custody and the nature of the charges.

Sunday, July 6

Theft: An agent for RE/MAX of Naperville reported between 10 p.m. July 4 and sometime today, “For Sale” sign and wooden post stolen from front yard of client’s home on 400 block of River Bend Road.

Monday, July 7

Theft: Between 4 p.m. July 3 and 7:19 a.m. today, 53-foot-long trailer stolen from Pioneer Packaging, 1280 Frontenac Road.

Marijuana manufacturing: Jessie R. Brown, 29, Aurora; 3:58 p.m. near Diehl and Shore roads; charged with manufacture or delivery of 2.5-10 grams marijuana, driving with a suspended license and failure to signal.

Vehicle damage: Between 5:30 and 6 p.m., two juvenile males rode skateboards over car parked on 0-99 block of South Eagle Street, damaging car; youths were also observed video-recording selves doing the damage.

Driving too fast: About 8:06 p.m., three-vehicle, rear-end, chain reaction traffic crash involving white Honda Accord, black Ford Mustang and silver Volvo S80 occurred near Hobson Road and Hamilton Lane; no injuries reported; unidentified, at-fault driver of Accord charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident/driving too fast for conditions.

Battery: Juergen Fischer, 40, 1300 block of Branchwood Circle; 9:09 p.m. at the Naperville police station, 1350 Aurora Ave.; charged with battery.

Vehicle damage: About 9:44 p.m., rock hurled and dented roof directly above windshield of vehicle, as motorist was driving near Jefferson Avenue and Main Street.

Tuesday, July 8

Driving under the influence: Nikki S. Powers, 22, 1500 block of Fairway Drive; 1:10 a.m. near Ogden Avenue and Raymond Drive; charged with two counts DUI and one count speeding.

Vehicle damage: Between 12:30 and 4:30 a.m., sharp object used to slash steering wheel and driver-side headrest of vehicle parked on 600 block of Balmoral Circle.

Theft: Between 12:30 a.m. July 5 and 8:52 a.m. today, unidentified clerk working at unidentified business on 1200 block of Rickert Drive pocketed $80 that was owed to customer; report provided no further information.

Contraband: About 9:03 a.m., landscaper reported finding needles and remnants of narcotics on lawn of Trinity Church of the Nazarene, 1451 Raymond Drive.

DUI: Dexter R. Milligan, 30, Somonauk; 9:04 a.m. near Walgreens, 612 Raymond Drive; charged with DUI/drugs and driving with a suspended license; also wanted on a warrant.

Driving too fast: About 9:07 a.m., three-vehicle, rear-end, chain-reaction traffic crash occurred near Diehl Road and Route 59; driver of one vehicle reported being injured; unidentified, at-fault motorist charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident/driving too fast for conditions.

Traffic crash: About 9:33 a.m., unidentified motorist told police he or she struck mailbox with vehicle outside home on 200 block of North Whispering Hills Road, after swerving to avoid striking squirrel in roadway.

Theft: Between 4 and 10 a.m., gun stolen from spare bedroom of home on 1700 block of Princess Circle.

Warrants: Adrian M. Johnson, 48, Houston; 10:01 a.m. near Springbrook Shell, 1295 Rickert Drive; taken into custody on two arrest warrants.

Burglary: Gino J. Alomri-Martin, 21, 5S000 block of Spyglass Court; 12:30 p.m. at Speedway, 631 N. Route 59; charged with burglary, identity theft and resisting a peace officer.

Theft: Between 7 a.m. and 6:20 p.m., black, Nishiki Alamosa women’s bicycle stolen from bike rack north of bridge at Metra Railway Fourth Avenue commuter train station, 105 E. Fourth Ave.

Theft: Between 9:40 and 9:50 p.m., cigarettes and lighters stolen from front porch of home on 2700 block of Glenwood Court.
