Disorderly conduct: About 2:47 p.m., woman got into argument with man on 1200 block of East Diehl Road, “after subject found out her vehicle was being repossessed.”
No insurance: About 3:03 p.m., unidentified motorist charged with driving without insurance and failure to yield while merging in traffic, following crash near Jefferson Avenue and Washington Street.
Monday, July 14
Warrant: Austin J. Smith, 20, hometown not provided; 2:26 p.m. near Ring Road and Washington Street; taken into custody on arrest warrant.
No driver’s license: About 3:18 p.m., unidentified motorist’s vehicle struck rear of vehicle in front of it at red light at intersection of Ogden Avenue and Naperville-Wheaton Road; at-fault motorist charged with driving without a license.
Vehicular damage: A 57-year-old woman reported between 2 and 3:50 p.m., unidentified “white substance” was tossed onto 2013 Lexus RX350 parked on 2000 block of South Washington Street.
Trespassing: A 33-year-old man reported about 3:53 p.m., he was lying on third row of seating inside minivan parked on 0-99 block of West Gartner Road when another man “opened left rear door and climbed in;” second man ran away after man sat up; intruder described as white man between ages of 25 and 35.
Identity theft: Herbert L. Burden, 45, hometown not provided; 4:09 p.m. at the Naperville police station, 1350 Aurora Ave.; charged with identity theft.
Deceptive practice: An employee of New Balance, 2879 95th St., reported two checks written between June 27 and 4:29 p.m. today were returned due to insufficient funds.
Disorderly conduct: About 5:27 p.m., resident of 1500 block of Watkins Lane reported her ex-husband, who lives in California, “made threats to break all city meters on apartment building (where she lives) due to being upset that the electricity was turned off;” bill is in ex-husband’s name; incident documented by police.
Property damage: A 55-year-old woman reported sometime before 9:33 p.m., window well cover broken at home on 400 block of Warwick Drive.
Unwanted subject: About 11:36 p.m., police were told unidentified man or woman had been banned from unidentified bar on 0-99 block of East Chicago Avenue; report provided no further information.
Marijuana possession: Jose M. Villanueva, 27, hometown not provided; 11:42 p.m. on 1600 block of Kiowa Drive; charged with possession of marijuana.
Driving under the influence: Shelly J. Bruegman, 35, hometown not provided; 11:48 p.m. near Champion Road and Route 59; charged with DUI.Tags: Police Blotter
