Baseball: Cougars pull out win in 10th inning behind Jacob Rogers

Recap: After a scoreless nine innings, Kane County erupted for three runs in the top of the 10th as reliever Gerard Concepcion closed the door for a 3-0 victory. Jacob Rogers (3-for-5) delivered a two-RBI single, followed by an RBI single from pinch-hitter Cael Brockmeyer. Ben Carhart, Trey Martin and Will Remillard also had two hits apiece for the Cougars. Concepcion (2-2) earned the win with three innings of no-hit relief, striking out three. Duane Underwood and Kyuji Fujikawa scattered three hits over the first seven innings. The Cougars produced 11 hits, but could not convert until the 10th.

Record: Cougars 63-33 overall, 18-8 in second half.
