Monday, July 14
Theft: A 36-year-old woman reported sometime between July 5 and today, Dell laptop computer stolen from home on 900 block of Genesee Court.
Tuesday, July 15
Suspicious incident: About 1:53 a.m., male or female on 1800 block of North Naper Boulevard reported being “victim of prank on Craigslist.”
Marijuana possession: About 2:42 a.m., unidentified male or female motorist charged with possession of 30 grams or less marijuana, after police officer saw small, plastic bag containing suspected marijuana inside vehicle on 1600 block of Kiowa Drive.
Vehicle damage: A 53-year-old man reported between 6 p.m. July 14 and 6 a.m., dark-colored soft drink dumped on vehicle parked in driveway of home on 100 block of Fernwood Drive; American cheese also found smeared on vehicle’s windows.
Fighting: Jeffrey M. Flanagan, 47, Lisle; 7:29 a.m. near McDonald’s, 516 N. River Road; charged with fighting, following traffic altercation.
Illegal soliciting: About 8:10 a.m., unidentified male or female charged with unlawful soliciting near Naperville-Wheaton Road and Naper Boulevard, following “repeated complaints of subject entering roadway and knocking on vehicle windows to ask for money.”
Disorderly conduct: A 58-year-old woman reported about 9:47 a.m., “implied threats made by a customer” to staff members of unidentified business on 2900 block of Audrey Avenue; police officer gave customer verbal “no trespassing” warning, with correspondence from store to follow.
Warrant: Austin G. Johnnic, 19, 0-99 block of Elmwood Drive; 10:13 a.m. at home; taken into custody on $5,000 arrest warrant.
Trespassing: Michael D. Stephens, 52, Aurora; 12:58 p.m. at Extended Stay America-Chicago-Naperville-West, 1575 Bond St.; charged with criminal trespass to land.
Shoplifting: Brandy K. Shumer, 26, 700 block of Inland Circle; 3:58 p.m. at SuperTarget, 1951 W. Jefferson Ave.; charged with two counts retail theft and one count unlawful use of weapons, after stealing unspecified quantity of Blu-ray digital video discs with total retail value of $360.90.
Theft: Zachary D. Bavol, 20, 800 block of Manchester Street; 4:37 p.m. at the Naperville police station, 1350 Aurora Ave.; charged with theft.
Driving under the influence: Timothy J. Walsh, 52, 800 block of North Loomis Street; 6:53 p.m. near 95th Street and Book Road; charged with two counts DUI and one count failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident/driving too fast for conditions.
Suspended license: Eseta J. Sundlin, 26, Joliet; 10:15 p.m. near Wendy’s, 1560 N. Route 59; charged with driving with a suspended license, driving without insurance and failure to yield right of way at intersection.
Theft: Jose A. Ortiz, 21, Aurora; 10:38 p.m. at Metra Railway Fourth Avenue commuter train station, 105 E. Fourth Ave.; charged with theft and resisting a peace officer.
DUI: Michael D. Srch, 22, 1400 block of Applegate Drive; 11:17 p.m. near Plum Hollow Court and Royal St. George Drive; charged with DUI and a vehicular lighting violation.
Shoplifting: Sometime today, unidentified male or female charged with retail theft, for stealing unspecified merchandise from SuperTarget, 1951 W. Jefferson Ave.; also, on May 8, same shoplifter stole camera from store.
Wednesday, July 16
DUI: Brian D. Caywood, 40, Bolingbrook; 12:58 a.m. near Bailey Road and Swallow Street; charged with DUI and speeding.
DUI: Alex Vasquez, 30, Aurora; 1:39 a.m. near Franklin Avenue and Julian Street; charged with two counts DUI and one count each possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, wrong-way driving and a vehicular lighting violation.
Vehicular burglary: A 34-year-old man reported between 10 p.m. July 15 and 6 a.m., pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses valued at $225 stolen from unlocked vehicle parked in driveway of home on 900 block of Turnbridge Circle.Tags: Police Blotter
