Friday, July 18
Driving under the influence: Krishmamoorthy Ramasubramanian, 41, Aurora; 2:08 a.m. near North Aurora and Frontenac roads; charged with two counts DUI and one count improper lane use.
Disorderly conduct: A 50-year-old woman reported about 10:41 a.m., unidentified “male worker became verbally abusive with customer at her residence” on 3500 block of Frankstowne Court; report provided no further information.
Marijuana possession: Brandon C. Sullivan, 20, 10700 block of Wentworth Drive; 10:57 a.m. near Jiffy Lube, 944 W. 75th St.; charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with a suspended license.
Vandalism: A 45-year-old man reported between 7 and 11 a.m., chalk used to write on sidewalk outside house on 400 block of Arlington Avenue.
Stolen property possession: About 4:58 p.m., two unidentified males or females charged with trying to sell stolen property at unidentified business on 500 block of South Route 59.
Trespassing: Nicholas A. Abbott, 26, 1200 block of Elizabeth Avenue; 5:14 p.m. at the Naperville police station, 1350 Aurora Ave.; charged with criminal trespass to land, after being found in parking lot of apartment building on 0-99 block of South Naper Boulevard, after receiving notice earlier that he was banned from property.
Battery: An 18-year-old woman reported about 6:39 p.m., she was threatened during traffic altercation near Ogden Avenue and Raymond Drive.
Obstructing justice: Charles A. Taylor, 45, 900 block of Prospect Court; 7:14 p.m. near home on 1100 block of Iroquois Avenue; charged with obstruction of justice; also taken into custody on two arrest warrants.
Vandalism: Between 7:30 p.m. July 16 and 8:14 p.m. today, “7-4-14” spray-painted in black on driver-side door of vehicle, and letter “C” spray-painted on sliding glass door of home, both on 1600 block of Ishnala Drive; also, letters “CB” spray-painted in black on city of Naperville stop sign at northwest corner of Orleans Avenue and Ishnala Drive.
Saturday, July 19
Trespassing: Shawn R. O’Neill, 21, Plainfield; 1:49 a.m. at Days Inn Naperville-Chicago, 1350 E. Ogden Ave.; charged with criminal trespass to land and disorderly conduct/breach of peace.
Disorderly conduct: A 62-year-old man reported between 7 p.m. July 18 and 11 a.m., raw eggs were hurled and struck two, neighboring houses on 1800 block of Appaloosa Drive; no damage reported.
Marijuana possession: About 11:22 a.m., unidentified male or female charged with possession of 30 grams or less marijuana on 1500 block of Naperville-Wheaton Road.
Marijuana possession: About 12:28 p.m., unidentified male or female charged with possession of 30 grams or less marijuana on 1500 block of North Naper Boulevard.
Police interference: About 1:57 p.m., unidentified, 43-year-old man working as furniture store “clearance sale” sign holder became light-headed and lost consciousness near Brookdale Road and Route 59; man passed out “likely due to the heat, dehydration and being intoxicated;” police found he had been drinking while working in area; man gave police phony name; charged with interfering with a police officer and drinking on public way.
Forgery: Isabel Serriteno, 29, West Chicago; 2:44 p.m. at Walmart SuperCenter, 2552 W. 75th St.; charged with forgery and retail theft; companion Ismael Gonzalez-Diez, 25, also of West Chicago, charged with retail theft.
Warrant: Juan Hernandez-Ortiz, 39, 2500 block of Oneida Lane; 9:20 p.m. at home; taken into custody on $1,000 arrest warrant, which police discovered after Hernandez-Ortiz called them to home to report hit and run damage that had been done to his vehicle.
Marijuana possession: Danielius Gaiskevicius, 19, 2800 block of Cantore Road; 9:32 p.m. near Leverenz and Plainfield-Naperville roads; charged with possession of 2.5 grams or less marijuana, driving without rear license plate light and a vehicular lighting violation.
Revoked license: Nathan M. Pope, 31, 100 block of East Bailey Road; 11:11 p.m. near his home; charged with driving with a revoked license and illegal possession or transportation alcohol; also taken into custody on arrest warrant.Tags: crime, Police Blotter
