As part of its annual budget process, the Naperville Park District invites the public to comment on capital improvements proposed throughout the district for 2015.

A community open house will be held on Aug. 14 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the lobby of the Naperville Municipal Center at 400 S. Eagle St. in downtown Naperville.

The open house will take place immediately before the regular meeting of the Park Disrict Board of Commissioners.

The following capital projects will be presented at the open house:

Ashbury Park – Tennis court renovations

Bailey Hobson Woods Park – Bridge replacement

Campus Greens – Sidewalk improvements

Hunters Woods – Playground renovation and site improvements (bridge, sidewalk, and shelter)

Knoch Knolls Park – Segment V DuPage River Trail development

Knoch Knolls Nature Center – 2014 project update

Ranchview Park – Tennis court resurfacing

Rock Ridge Park – Retention basin shoreline restoration

Sally Benton Park – Site furnishings and paver installations

Summerfield Lake Park – Retention basin shoreline restoration

Park District staff will be on hand to answer questions about any of the above projects.

There will not be a formal presentation during the open house. Those who are interested but unable to attend are invited to view the plans online and submit comments by Aug. 25 to Director of Planning Eric Shutes at eshutes@napervilleparks.org.

Project information will be posted at www.napervilleparks.org beginning Aug. 15.
