Hollywood Palms will pay tribute to Robin Williams with two special film showings Monday, Aug. 18, at the theater, 352 Route 59.
The Chicago Film Critics Association will help host the event. Proceeds from ticket sales will go to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
“Jumanji” will be shown at 6 p.m. and “Good Will Hunting” at 8 p.m. Both will include an opening speech from Chicago Film Critics Association, an inspirational video clip by Robin Williams, a moment of silence and then a post show closing by Chicago Film Critics Association.
Donations for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention also will be accepted the day of at the theater.
