With one of the state’s top golfers at the top of the lineup, Waubonsie Valley has been close to reaching the Class AA girls golf state tournament the past couple of years despite not having a full roster.
This season, with only four varsity golfers, including two freshmen, the Warriors look poised to make another run. Especially with senior Bing Singhsumalee in the lead.
For the second straight day, the Warriors won a tournament. Monday, they went to Coyote Run and won the loaded Marian Catholic Invite with a 316. They followed it up Tuesday with a 340 at the notoriously difficult Naperville Country Club to win the McGonagle Naperville City Championship.golf, Waubonsie Valley
