Wednesday, Aug. 20
Shoplifting: About 10:30 a.m., loss prevention manager of Lowe’s, 1440 S. Route 59, reported unspecified merchandise stolen, and later returned for cash or credit at Lowe’s store in Benton Harbor, Mich.
Friday, Aug. 22
Suspended license: Ramiro Rodriguez, 23, Aurora; 12:26 a.m. near Ogden Avenue and Route 59; charged with driving with a suspended license, driving without insurance, improper use of registration or title and failure to signal.
Marijuana possession: Michael R. MacDuff, 24, 1500 block of Maple Knoll Court; 12:56 a.m. at Features Bar & Grill, 14 W. Chicago Ave.; charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia; also taken into custody on arrest warrant.
Theft: Between 3 p.m. Aug. 13 and 8 a.m. today, 1,250 feet of electrical wiring valued at $12,000, which was to have been used for streetlight installation, stolen from grounds of 95th Street extension project, 95th Street and Eagle Brook Lane.
Theft: Between 8 a.m. Aug. 16 and 10:05 a.m. today, Ingersoll Rand air compressor mounted on trailer and valued at $20,000 stolen from parking lot on 500 block of North Route 59; compressor was equipped with electronic tracking device.
Suspicious incident: About 1:10 p.m., assistant general manager of unidentified business on 2700 block of West 75th Street reported telephone caller identified self as working for city of Naperville, and said “the power to the business was going to be terminated for a past due amount.”
Suspended license: Burt M. Barton, 22, Woodridge; 9:08 p.m. near 75th Street and Rickert Drive; charged with driving with a suspended license and driving with an expired registration.
Driving under the influence: John A. O’Rourke, 32, Crest Hill; 11:59 p.m. near Ring Road and Washington Street; charged with DUI and improper lane use.
Saturday, Aug. 23
Suspended license: Mohammed A.R. Riaz, 21, Woodridge; 12:22 a.m. near 75th Street and Palomino Drive; charged with driving with a suspended license, driving without insurance and failure to signal.
Unlicensed driver: Josefa Sanchez, 40, Aurora; 1:16 a.m. near Diehl and Shore roads; charged with driving without a license and failure to signal.
DUI: Jessica L. Zwolfer, 25, Palos Heights; 2:02 a.m. near North Aurora Road and Weston Ridge Drive; charged with two counts DUI and one count speeding.
DUI: Aaron K. Doloresco, 33, 300 block of North Center Street; 2:09 a.m. near Porter Avenue and Washington Street; charged with two counts DUI and one count each possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and improper lane use.
Property damage: Between 2 p.m. Aug. 22 and 10:21 a.m., lock damaged on exterior entrance door to apartment building on 100 block of Testa Drive.
Harassment: Margie M. Musik-Curtis, 48, 0-99 block of Pebblewood Trail; 9:25 p.m. at home; charged with two counts telephone harassment and one count resisting a peace officer.
Illegal alcohol possession: About 10:41 p.m., unidentified, 17-year-old boy or girl charged with illegal possession of alcohol by minor, following traffic stop near North Avenue and Washington Street.
DUI: Priscilla S. Johnson, 23, Bolingbrook; 11:58 p.m. near city of Naperville public parking deck, 75 E. Chicago Ave.; charged with DUI/drugs and two counts disobeying a traffic signal.Tags: Police Blotter
