Naperville North has players. Lots of players.
Featuring a roster of 95, the Huskies certainly will have a packed sideline this season, but whether or not those on the field can do enough to keep the program’s 18 consecutive playoff appearance streak alive remains to be seen.
“We’ve really had a good offseason camp and what’s different this year is we’re using multiple players at multiple positions,” Huskies coach Sean Drendel said. “We’re not a one-man team so we’ve got a lot of guys that might carry the ball or catch passes. We’ve got 95 guys on the roster and all are capable of doing some things.”
The multiple-player approach will also likely be used at quarterback, with seniors Chris Gajak and Evan Kujawski splitting time.
