1. The Airborne on D-Day, 7 p.m., Sept. 10

Veteran battlefield historian Robert Mueller talks about the men of the U.S. 82nd and 101st Airborne Divisions in honor of the 70th anniversary of D-Day. Naperville Public Library – 95th Street Library, 3015 Cedar Glade Road.

2. Mother-Daughter Book Club, 2 p.m., Sept. 20

Daughters ages 13-16 can join their mothers in this book club as they discuss “Scarlet” by Marissa Meyer. New members are welcome. Anderson’s Bookshop, 123 W. Jefferson Ave.

3. Gourmet Food Tasting Party, 6:30 p.m., Oct. 2

Attendees can sample different products from family-owned food suppliers. Food samples include hot and cold dips, flavored coffees, cheese balls and more. Prize drawings and discounts on purchases are available throughout the event. Naperville General Store, 204 S. Washington St.
