Shopping for the perfect gift for the person who has it all can be somewhat daunting and can require a personal touch, like these platters from Color Me Mine.

“We create treasured pieces such as custom house platters and beloved pet platters,” says Janie Westenfelder, Color Me Mine’s Naperville store owner.

“Our homes are very special, and we can help capture the memories.”

She continues to add that dogs and cats are sometimes our best friends and are part of families forever.

A hand-painted platter of “Man’s Best Friend” can make a perfect gift for anyone with a pet.

Color Me Mine artists work from a photograph of a home, pet, family or just about any subject to capture the picture-perfect platter of memories.

“While the cost for custom platters is definitely more expensive than just coming in to paint your own pieces, our customers are so pleased with these pieces,” Westenfelder says.

“These make the perfect gift for family, friends and neighbors to give for anniversaries, milestone birthdays, weddings, etc.”

Custom platters range in price from $200 to $450.

They can be purchased at 2835 Showplace Drive in Naperville 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday; 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
