Greg Vos of Naperville was named to the 2012 all-volunteer Board of Directors of the Illinois State Council of the Society for Human Resource Management.

Michael Peters of Aurora recently was named the chief financial officer at Extra Edge in Naperville, Peters is responsible for the firm’s accounting, financial planning, payroll, cash flow management and tax planning. Peters also is owner of Profit Focused Principles in Naperville. Peters has more than 25 years of experience in corporate accounting and management, including employment with H&R Block and White Hen Pantry Corporation. Peters holds an accounting degree from Elmhurst College.

Naperville resident Michael E. Hodges, of the Effner Financial Group, a Northwestern Mutual office based in Downers Grove, with its 2012 Central Region Group Disability Insurance Award. The honor recognizes Hodges for an outstanding year of performance with Northwestern Mutual, serving the financial security needs of clients and policy owners throughout the region.
