Naperville architectural firm to renovate Crystal Lake Y

Naperville-based Charles Vincent George Architects recently was awarded the contract for the $15 million renovation of the Sage YMCA in Crystal Lake.
It will include a new family aquatic center, individual gender-specific locker rooms, a family locker room with individual private changing rooms, and licensed preschool and child care rooms.
The project also will provide a new high school-sized gymnasium, new 8,000-square-foot fitness/wellness center, aerobics, spin and Yoga studios.
Construction on the Sage Y is scheduled to begin in August, with completion by June 2014.
The project team also includes Lisle-based Civil Engineer Intech Engineering and Landscape designs by Naperville-based Design Perspectives.
