Launch Digital Marketing, a Naperville-based search engine optimization company, moved into 22 E. Chicago Ave, suite 200 A, a few weeks ago.

“We were essentially virtual before, so this is our first real office space,” says co-owner and CEO Joe Chura, adding that they chose the location for its ambience and amenities.

The three partners, Chura; Matthew Cole, executive vice president and co-founder; and Mike Magnussen, bring extensive experience to the table. Chura and Cole have been friends since 2009, too.

“Specializing in custom web solutions via website design and implementation, SEO, SEM, advanced analytics, social strategies and conversion optimization, Launch has the right custom solution for your business,” states the website, www.launchdigitalmarketing.com.

Launch emanates an air of hip yet cutting-edge solutions.

“We created a fun space to work in — like Google,” says Chura about the 20 employees dispersed on bean bags and couches working on whizzing laptops.

“We truly provide custom solutions but hold the belief that a strong digital foundation is absolutely necessary to build upon,” Chura says. “Identifying the brand, product or service’s USP or unique selling proposition is usually the first step.”

With years of experience on the retail side, the trio already have accrued an extensive client list.

“We believe in not attracting customers but rather partners. Working together is typically not a short-lived process,” Chura says. “We still have many clients that have been with us since day one.”

Jalapeno Grille debuts

The Jalapeno Grille, 1316 N. Route 59, suite 108, opened its first Naperville location in late November, offering a variety of Mexican dishes and specialties.

Apart from offering all-time favorites such as freshly homemade chips and salsa and nachos, the Jalapeno Grille also offers kid-friendly items. Warm up with their homemade chili at $3.95 a bowl, too.

Their specialities include a variety of tacos and burritos, including a veggie burrito, and chimichanga, all priced between $2.15 and $6.95. For the big hunger, try any of their Mexican platters.

“We use only fresh ingredients. Everything is made from scratch. Nothing out of cans,” says Anastacio Calderon, co-owner. Wife and co-owner Maria Calderon adds, “We are proud to offer our breakfast menu all day.”

Lunch is their busiest time, but with a liquor license in the works and plans to install a big screen TV, the Calderons hope to attract customers for fun- and food-filled evenings.

The Calderons live across the street from the new restaurant and sought the opportunity when the Spicy Pickle closed late last summer. Their original location in St. Charles opened in 2003.

Year anniversary

With a year under its belt, the Midwest Fit Club, 5019 Ace Lane, hopes to continue expanding its membership, offering fitness classes, personal training, corporate wellness programs and exercise equipment.

“Hitting our one-year anniversary is a testament to our staff and the loyal following we have here at Midwest Fit Club,” said Steve Arch, co-owner.

“The club also instituted a heart rate monitor system, MyZone, that allows members to track their workout progress using TVs inside the gym and an interactive web-based dashboard,” according to a press release.

With a team of professional trainers and staff, MFC caters to individuals but also offers comprehensive wellness programs to area businesses, and outdoor boot camps. MFC plans to again host area charity events this year.
