Monday, Dec. 30
1Theft: A 25-year-old man reported between 3 p.m. Dec. 29 and noon, black and white Schwinn mountain bicycle stolen from unsecured storage area inside building on 100 block of North Washington Street.
2Theft: A 65-year-old woman reported between 12:01 a.m. Dec. 20 and 1:59 p.m. today, Federal Express package containing Sony PlayStation 4 purchased from Walmart either never delivered to or stolen from front steps of house on 1000 block of Elizabeth Avenue.
Tuesday, Dec. 31
3Vehicle damage: Between 7 p.m. Dec. 30 and 6 a.m., two tires punctured on vehicle parked in lot outside apartment complex on 700 block of Inland Circle.
4No insurance: About 1:10 p.m., unidentified motorist ticketed for driving without insurance and failure to yield right of way when leaving private driveway near Diehl Road and Route 59.
5Disorderly conduct: Younes Khoshnavazmotlagh, 63, Chicago; 3:41 p.m. at the Naperville police station, 1350 Aurora Ave.; charged with disorderly conduct/breach of peace.
6Trespassing: About 5:14 p.m., unidentified male or female arrested and charged with criminal trespass to land, after refusing to leave unidentified business on 100 block of East Ogden Avenue; offender had received prior “no trespassing” warning.
7Failure to reduce speed: About 5:27 p.m., unidentified motorist ticketed for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident/driving too fast for conditions, after vehicle ran off roadway and struck tree near Alexandria Drive and Naper Boulevard.
8Hit and run: About 5:53 p.m., dark, four-door vehicle struck city of Naperville streetlight pole at northwest corner of Three Farms Avenue and Hannah Court; motorist then drove away from scene.
9Underage drinking: About 9:18 p.m., two males or females ages 17 and 18 charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by minors, after being found drinking Coors Light beer inside vehicle parked on 1500 block of Preston Road; police initially sent there following report of parked and occupied “suspicious vehicle.”
10Hit and run: Sometime before 9:20 p.m., unidentified driver of silver Toyota Corolla struck and knocked down city of Naperville streetlight pole near Diehl Road and Ketten Drive; motorist then drove away from scene.
11Suspicious incident: About 11:12 p.m., police investigated report of teenagers inside house on 2200 block of Salisbury Drive, while homeowners were out of town for holidays; residence secured by police and message left on homeowner’s cell phone.
Wednesday, Jan. 1
12Abandoned vehicle: About 10:21 a.m., police investigated report of vehicle abandoned in eastbound lane of 75th Street west of Modaff Road; owner arrived with help just before tow truck towed vehicle from scene.
13Shoplifting: Isaiah M. McNeal, 18, Woodridge; 12:12 p.m. at Walmart, 776 S. Route 59; charged with retail theft.
14Marijuana possession: Louis C. Granberry, 18, 100 block of Testa Drive; 8:50 p.m. near Ogden Avenue and Benedetti Drive; charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, illegal possession or transportation of liquor, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident/driving too fast for conditions and driving without insurance.
