Friday, Jan. 17
Vehicular theft: A 45-year-old man reported between 6 p.m. Jan. 16 and 5:15 a.m., lock cut off front gate and 2010 American Hauler trailer stolen from unidentified business on 1700 block of North Aurora Road.
Vehicle theft: A 22-year-old woman reported between 8 p.m. Jan. 16 and 7:45 a.m., vehicle stolen while parked in lot of unidentified hotel on 1500 block of Naperville-Wheaton Road.
Driving under the influence: Marco S. DeCarlo, 27, hometown not provided; 8:09 a.m., after vehicle suffered flat tire near Ferry Road and Raymond Drive; charged with DUI/drugs.
Warrant: Justin D. Montague, 27, Aurora; 8:28 a.m. near Hallmark Creations, 1995 W. Jefferson Ave.; taken into custody on outstanding, $15,000 arrest warrant.
Child endangerment: Beth E. Parchomenko, 40, Geneva; 12:36 p.m. at medical office building on 1500 block of Bond Street; charged with endangering the health or life of a child and two counts DUI, after she “came into doctor’s office with 2-year-old daughter, after driving to appointment while under the influence of alcohol.”
Stolen property possession: Cornelius L. Thomas, 18, 1700 block of Brookdale Road; 2:02 p.m. at home; charged with possession of stolen property.
Shoplifting: About 5:17 p.m., two unidentified, 17-year-old males or females arrested or ticketed for shoplifting at Walmart, 776 S. Route 59; report provided no further information.
Disorderly conduct: Angelica M. Rodriguez, 31, Berwyn; 7:59 p.m. on 2500 block of Arcadia Circle; charged with disorderly conduct/breach of peace, “after repeatedly and rapidly ringing doorbell and throwing objects at house.”
Saturday, Jan. 18
Suspended license: Peniel M. Manigat, 32, Chicago; 12:35 a.m. near Royal Worlington Drive and Route 59; charged with driving with a suspended license, driving without insurance, improper lane use and a headlights violation.
DUI: Antonio L. Knight, 23, Aurora; 1:32 a.m. on 1600 block of North Route 59; charged with two counts DUI and one count each contributing to delinquency of minor by hosting party, leaving scene of accident involving vehicle damage and driving without insurance; and Christopher B. McMorris, 23, Aurora; charged with battery and two counts resisting a peace officer.
DUI: James W. Buchanan, 42, Plainfield; 1:45 a.m. near 83rd Street and Route 59; charged with two counts DUI and one count speeding.
Vandalism: Sometime before 4:17 a.m., city of Naperville traffic sign defaced near Hazelwood and Emerald drives.
DUI: Akilah J. Morris, 22, Bolingbrook; 5:38 a.m. near 75th Street and Beebe Drive; charged with DUI, driving with a suspended license, driving without insurance, failure to signal, improper lane use and speeding.
Warrant: Sandra Collins, 30, 700 block of Royal St. George Drive; 9:06 a.m. near North Aurora Road and Route 59; taken into custody on outstanding arrest warrant, after being stopped for speeding.
Theft: A 77-year-old resident of ManorCare Health Services, 200 W. Martin Ave.; reported between Jan. 3 and 11:50 a.m. today, University of Illinois Credit Union Visa card stolen from his wallet.
Driving too fast: About noon, unidentified motorist lost control of vehicle on snow-covered pavement, drove over curb and hit fence near Chicago Avenue and Charles Street; motorist ticketed for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident/driving too fast for conditions.
No insurance: About 3:07 p.m., unidentified motorist charged with driving without insurance, following traffic crash near Bighorn Road and Washington Street.
Suspended license: Marquice J. Fields, 22, Chicago; 3:15 p.m. near city of Naperville public parking deck, 43 W. Van Buren Ave.; charged with driving with a suspended license, driving without insurance and driving with an expired registration.
No insurance: About 4:12 p.m., unidentified motorist ticketed for driving without insurance, following traffic crash on icy pavement near Breckenridge Lane and Plainfield-Naperville Road.
Drug possession: John G. Chao, 25, and Zayra L. Figueroa, 20, both of 1000 block of Heritage Hill Drive; and Kyle D. Q. Johnson, 20, 100 block of North Wright Street; 6:23 p.m. at Chao’s and Figueroa’s home; Chao charged with two counts possession of a controlled substance, two counts possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of more than 10 grams marijuana and possession of firearm with invalid firearm owner’s identification card; Figueroa charged with possession of 2.5 grams or less marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia; Johnson charged with possession of more than 10 grams marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Suspended license: Rigoberto Coatl-Varela, 33, West Chicago; 8:46 p.m. near 83rd Street and Route 59; charged with driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance; also wanted on a warrant.
DUI: Colin C. McGrath, 26, 900 block of Parkside Road; 8:49 p.m. near Fifth Avenue Station Apartments, 200 E. Fifth Ave.; charged with two counts DUI and one count each failure to yield right of way to emergency vehicle, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, transportation of open alcohol, driving without insurance and making improper turn at intersection.
Warrant: About 10:08 p.m., unidentified man or woman taken into custody on outstanding DuPage County arrest warrant, following check of building on 1800 block of Centre Point Circle.
Road rage: About 11:20 p.m., two unidentified motorists involved in road rage incident on 1600 block of Windward Court, “then confronted each other in front of one of the driver’s homes;” report did not indicate whether arrests made or tickets issued.
Sunday, Jan. 19
Battery: Camille L. Pena, 26, 400 block of East Bailey Road; 12:14 a.m. at home; charged with battery, resisting a peace officer, knowingly damaging property, possession of 2.5-10 grams marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and domestic battery.
Burglary: Between 4 p.m. Jan. 18 and 5:45 a.m., rear window was shattered and entry made via rear door to unidentified business on 2700 block of West 75th Street; $200 stolen from unlocked cash register.
Obstructing police: Tuneassha G. Campbell, 38, who listed address of Extended Stay America-Chicago-Naperville, 1827 Centre Point Circle; 6:02 a.m. in her room; charged with two counts obstruction of justice; also wanted on a warrant; and Pamella A. Campbell, 61, same room; charged with obstructing identification; also wanted on a warrant.
Theft: Between 7:28 p.m. Jan. 18 and 12:46 p.m., unidentified driver of gray van obtained other man’s or woman’s prescription for 90 Hydrocodone pills at Walgreens, 63 W. 87th St., and paid for same using victim’s credit card information, which was on file at store pharmacy.
Battery: About 2:22 p.m., “misunderstanding about where the line was for the car wash led to an alleged physical altercation” at Speedway, 95th Street and Route 59; report did not indicate whether arrests made or tickets issued.
Shoplifting: About 4:44 p.m., two unidentified males or females stole unspecified items from unidentified store on 2500 block of West 75th Street, and then escaped before police arrived at scene.
Trespassing: About 11:46 p.m., unidentified male arrested for trespassing on campus of North Central College, near Franklin Avenue and Sleight Street; male had been previously warned not to trespass there.
