Monday, Jan. 27
No insurance: About 5:48 a.m., unidentified motorist charged with driving without insurance, following three-vehicle traffic crash near North Aurora Road and Route 59; no injuries reported.
Vehicle burglary: A 22-year-old man reported between 11:30 p.m. Jan. 26 and 7:45 a.m., $5 worth of coins stolen from 1997 GMC Sierra truck parked in lot on 100 block of Whispering Hills Drive; footprints found in snow led from truck to the north.
Suspended license: About 10 a.m., unidentified motorist charged with driving with a suspended license, after vehicle rear-ended another vehicle near Bayhill Avenue and Naper Boulevard; driver of other vehicle taken by ambulance to Edward Hospital in Naperville; report provided no further information.
Found property: About 6 p.m., “large amount of money located in parking lot in bank envelope and currency band” on 0-99 block of West Gartner Road.
Tuesday, Jan. 28
Driving too fast: About 1:30 a.m., unidentified motorist’s vehicle struck mailbox cluster on 3300 block of Rosecroft Lane; motorist charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident/driving too fast for conditions.
Suspended license: Heidi O. Rodriguez, 24, Aurora; 6:29 a.m. near Ogden Avenue and Route 59; charged with driving with a suspended license.
Warrant: Zachary R. Andreasen, 18, 1200 block of Chalet Road; 10:47 a.m. at home; arrested on outstanding, $10,000 warrant out of Will County.
Battery: Jeremi J. Amison, 18, 1800 block of Shetland Drive; 1 p.m. at the Naperville police station, 1350 Aurora Ave.; charged with battery causing bodily harm.
Driving under the influence: Lemont C. Peters, 27, 700 block of Inland Circle; 5:44 p.m. near Allegre Circle and Fairway Drive; charged with two counts DUI and one count each endangering health or life of a child, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident/driving too fast for conditions, driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance.
Shoplifting: Regina L. Russell, 33, and Nakiba R. Russell, 19, both of Berwyn; 6:56 p.m. at Nordstrom Rack, 2511 W. 75th St.; both charged with retail theft.
Wednesday, Jan. 29
No insurance: About 8:45 a.m., unidentified motorist charged with driving without insurance, following two-vehicle traffic crash near Plank Road and Naper Boulevard; no injuries reported.
Theft: Taylor J. Kreifels, 19, hometown not provided; 7:59 p.m. on 5S500 block of Columbia Street; charged with theft.
No license in possession: Ahmed A. Elgezawy, 18, hometown not provided; 9:22 p.m. near 83rd Street and Route 59; charged with driving without having license in possession.
Unlicensed driver: Ernesto Albizo-Torres, 33, hometown not provided; followed about 11:28 p.m. to Boughton and Weber roads, Bolingbrook; charged with driving without a license.
