Hit and run: Sara M. Montechiare, 28, 3000 block of Brossman Street; 12:38 a.m. in Aurora, following traffic crash in which her Mitsubishi rear-ended a Dodge near 95th Street and Route 59; charged with leaving scene of accident involving vehicle damage and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident/driving too fast for conditions.
Driving too fast: About 8:23 a.m., unidentified motorist’s vehicle slid on slick pavement through intersection of Martin Avenue and Washington Street and struck fire hydrant on east side of Washington Street; no injuries reported; motorist charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident/driving too fast for conditions.
Suspended license: Denise L. Owens, 58, Lisle; 10:41 a.m. near Ogden Avenue and Naperville-Wheaton Road; charged with driving with a suspended license, driving without insurance and driving with suspended license plates.
Disorderly conduct: Abraham H. Huerta, 43, Aurora; 1:58 p.m. at Goodwill Industries, 539 Fort Hill Drive; charged with disorderly conduct/breach of peace.
Battery: About 2 p.m., unidentified man or woman surrendered at the Naperville police station, 1350 Aurora Ave., on outstanding arrest warrant for battery.
Battery: Susan A. Miller, 55, Woodridge; 3 p.m. at the Naperville police station, 1350 Aurora Ave.; charged with battery.
Unlicensed driver: Victoriano Hernandez, 51, Aurora; 5:34 p.m. near 111th Street and 248th Avenue; charged with driving without a license, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident/driving too fast for conditions and driving without insurance.
Marijuana possession: Alan L. Martinez, 18, North Aurora; 7:53 p.m., after North Central College Campus Security officers called police to Martinez’s dormitory room on 100 block of South Loomis Street; charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful consumption of liquor by a minor.
