Thursday, Feb. 13
Vehicle burglary: A 39-year-old woman reported between 3 and 4:15 p.m., unspecified property stolen from inside vehicle parked on 2800 block of 95th Street.
Friday, Feb. 14
Unlicensed taxi driver: About 1 a.m., unidentified taxicab driver charged with driving without a driver’s license, driving without insurance and failure to display city of Naperville taxi stickers, following traffic stop near Jefferson Avenue and Ellsworth Street.
Warrant: Amber J. Weiss, 31, 600 block of Harlowe Court; 8:04 a.m. at the Naperville police station, 1350 Aurora Ave.; surrendered on a $10,000 arrest warrant.
Shoplifting: About 12:18 p.m., unidentified male or female issued city of Naperville ticket for retail theft, after stealing unspecified merchandise valued at $103.67 from Menards, 715 Fort Hill Drive.
Information for police: About 3:31 p.m., manager of unidentified business on 500 block of South Route 59 told police of having been involved in dispute with customer; report provided no further information.
No insurance: About 9:46 p.m., unidentified motorist charged with driving without insurance, following traffic stop near 75th and Washington streets.
Marijuana possession: Nicholas R. Gray, 18, 500 block of Carriage Hill Road; 10:13 p.m. at Brunswick Zone, 1515 Aurora Ave.; charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and illegal possession of alcohol by minor, after police found unspecified number of teenagers and young adults with open alcohol sitting inside vehicle in parking lot; Gray then admitted to police there was marijuana in the car as well.
Marijuana possession: Malcolm Biles, 21, West Paducah, Ky.; 10:52 p.m. near Aurora Avenue and Eagle Street; charged with possession of less than 2.5 grams marijuana, after unidentified driver of vehicle in which he was riding received ticket for a vehicular lighting violation.
Unlicensed driver: Juan F. C. Gomez, 21, El Paso, Texas; 11:06 p.m. near Rollingridge Road and Route 59; charged with driving without a license, driving while talking on cell phone and having no valid registration.
Theft: Principal of Scott Elementary School, 500 Warwick Lane, told police sometime between Jan. 31 and today, iPad tablet was stolen on campus.
Saturday, Feb. 15
Battery: About 2:04 a.m., 22-year-old woman told police a 22-year-old white man “spit on her several times” on 0-99 block of East Chicago Avenue “before leaving in a vehicle with an unknown, intoxicated female;” report provided no further information.
Driving under the influence: Brendon J. McCarthy, 45, 2200 block of Joyce Lane; 2:26 a.m. near 75th Street and Clyde Drive; charged with two counts DUI and one count speeding.
DUI: Bridgette M. Reutter, 28, Aurora; 4:03 a.m. near 83rd Street and Route 59; charged with two counts DUI and one count improper parking in roadway, after she was “found sleeping with her foot on the brake in traffic lane. Once awake, (she) admitted to drinking” and then failed sobriety tests administered by police.
Warrant: Esteban Lozada, 51, 2200 block of Waterleaf Court; 10:02 p.m. near 87th Street and Route 59; arrested on $500 warrant.
Sunday, Feb. 16
Abandoned vehicle: About 6:13 a.m., vehicle towed after being found abandoned in westbound lanes of 111th Street near 248th Avenue.
Property damage: A 31-year-old man reported between 1 and 10 a.m., holes kicked into interior wall of garage and vehicle damaged, after garage door was left open overnight at home on 500 block of Bighorn Road.
No insurance: About 10:58 a.m., unidentified motorist charged with driving without insurance and making improper start at Ogden and Iroquois avenues.
Vehicle damage: A 30-year-old man reported between 6 a.m. Feb. 7 and noon today, side mirror and two tires damaged on vehicle parked on 500 block of East Bailey Road.
Burglary: A 40-year-old woman reported between 11:30 p.m. Feb. 15 and 3 p.m., purse stolen from inside unlocked apartment on 0-99 block of Testa Drive; “purse later located in family room, after news of incident spread through building;” $150 stolen; all other contents of purse intact.
Underage tobacco use: About 8:51 p.m., two juveniles found in hallway of building on 1500 block of West Jefferson Avenue, following report of “strong odor” of burning marijuana there; police found no marijuana or drug paraphernalia; juveniles were issued city of Naperville tickets for underage possession of tobacco products and then released into custody of parents.
DUI: Juan P. Perez-Ramirez, 27, Cicero; 10:10 p.m. near Bluebird Lane and Washington Street; charged with two counts DUI and one count each driving with a suspended license, driving without insurance and improper lane use.
