Driving under the influence: Alexander M. Rosales, 24, 1400 block of North Eagle Street; 1:58 a.m. near Ogden and Fifth avenues; charged with two counts DUI and one count each failure to signal and improper lane use.
Traffic crash: About 7:10 a.m., unidentified motorist’s vehicle left roadway and struck fire hydrant on 1000 block of River Oak Drive; report did not indicate whether injuries were sustained or charges filed.
Theft: Bradley J. Ropski, 26, Roselle; 9:58 a.m. at the Naperville police station, 1350 Aurora Ave.; charged with theft.
Unlicensed driver: Tony G. Greene, 19, Plainfield; 10:19 a.m. near Stardust Motel, 890 E. Ogden Ave.; charged with driving without a license, driving without insurance and driving with an expired registration.
Theft: A 57-year-old woman reported between 8:10 and 8:25 p.m., cell phone stolen from restroom at Edward Hospital, 801 S. Washington St.
Thursday, Feb. 20
Suspended license: Kevin P. McDonald, 25, 1000 block of Fairway Drive; 3:20 a.m. near Brookdale Road and Bond Street; charged with driving with a suspended license.
Telephone threat: A 39-year-old resident of the 1800 block of Brookdale Road told police between 8:27 and 9:43 a.m., she was recipient of “hostile telephone call;” report provided no further information.
Suspended license: About noon, unidentified motorist stopped by police near Feldott Lane and Ogden Avenue, for having loud muffler on vehicle; motorist also charged with driving with a suspended license, driving without insurance and driving with a suspended registration.
Theft: About 1:46 p.m., unidentified man or woman reported theft from unnamed warehouse on 1800 block of West Jefferson Avenue; report provided no further information.
Shoplifting: About 3:04 p.m., unidentified male or female issued city of Naperville citation for retail theft, after being caught shoplifting inside Goodwill Industries, 539 Fort Hill Drive.
Aggravated assault: A 56-year-old man reported about 7:06 p.m., unidentified motorist “pulled a knife on him and threatened to stab him” following traffic altercation near 111th Street and Route 59; other motorist described only as white man, about 20 years old.
Trespassing: About 9:10 p.m., unidentified intruders set off security alarm at unspecified business or area of 2700 block of Showplace Drive; intrusion filmed by video surveillance cameras; report provided no further information.
Driving under the influence: Jeffrey T. Bellandi, 42, home town not provided; 9:15 p.m. near Diehl Road and Raymond Drive; charged with DUI.
